I just wanted to say that I just stumbled across and love your blog and am now looking forward to your book! I think you capture a lot of what is so uncanny and alluring about taxidermy. I am especially intrigued by antique taxidermy where the taxidermist is trying to approximate a beast they have never seen alive; just like prints from the early modern era, they created a beast that never was which in turn distorted the understanding of zoology for centuries.

Wow! That was really cool! and different - I think I've only seen one other "book trailer" before, and it definitely wasn't as interesting as this. I'm looking forward to reading your book - and I love your blog! :)
